Julia Maldonado has spent the last fourteen years in the trenches representing families throughout the area served by the 14th Court of Appeals. A respected lawyer, Julia works diligently for her clients to ensure they are treated fairly by our courts. With a commitment to fairness and justice, Julia is ready to take her experiences and record of service to the 14th Court.
LIFE EXPERIENCE
The first in her family to earn a college degree, Julia worked her way to earning an accounting degree from the University of Houston-Downtown and a Law Degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Soon after law school, Julia began a successful law practice located just outside of downtown Houston. Her life experiences are not very different from those of everyday families, thus, her commitment to ensuring justice for all who come through the appellate court is unending.
After building a successful practice, raising two sons, and serving her community as an advocate and volunteer, Julia made the decision to become a candidate for Justice of the 14th Court of Appeals. The 14th Court is politically and ideologically imbalanced, and Julia Maldonado wants to change that to benefit all Texans.
JUDICIAL TEMPERAMENT
